"Colors of the Season" at Brookside Gardens December 2, 2006 - January 7, 2007 |
Our club teamed up with the staff of Brookside Gardens and LGB of America to add a multitude of trains to the Gardens traditional "Colors of the Season" display. WVMGRS members designed and constructed the layout and scenery, Brookside staff added the flowers and greenery, and LGB of America loaned the trains and track.
The display was located in the South Conservatory of Brookside Gardens, at 1500 Glenallen Avenue, Wheaton, Maryland. For more information about Brookside, please visit their website.
The 2005 WVMGRS display at Brookside is featured in the December 2006 issue of Garden Railways magazine, illustrating their
list of large-scale holiday displays.
This year's display was again featured on the LGB web site in their News section.
