Brookside Gardens Winter Display
November 25, 2011 - January 8, 2012

The WVMGRS teamed up with the staff of Brookside Gardens for the 7th year in a row, putting on a special display of trains and holiday greenery. This year trains weave around a variety of evergreens and conifers as well as colorful flowering plants of the season as they travel through towns and country-side scenes. This year’s plantings will include a few edible plants like chard and hot peppers which offer colorful leaves and fruits.

Montgomery County Cable produced a holiday happenings video which includes a segment on our Brookside display (we're on from about 2:30 to 5:45). Click here to see other YouTube videos.

The display was located in the South Conservatory of Brookside Gardens, at 1500 Glenallen Avenue, Wheaton, Maryland. For more information about Brookside, please visit their website.
